Home Buyer Inspection
The Home Buyer Inspection is the most common type of inspection we perform. Having a home inspected before you buy it can save you from making a costly mistake. Our expertise will allow you to make an informed decision regarding one of the biggest purchases you’ll ever make.
Home Seller Inspection
The Home Seller Inspection is almost identical to the Home Buyer Inspection, except this inspection benefits both the seller and the buyer of a home. A seller can have an inspection performed on their home and use it as a selling point for the property. The inspection can show the seller what improvements need to be made to the home and give them a chance to fix them or adjust their price accordingly. This inspection can be used by the buyer, saving them the cost of a home inspection.
Home Seller Consultation
The Home Seller Consultation is not an in depth inspection. Instead, it is a consultation for people who want to know what they can do to help their home sell faster and for more money. We will meet with the homeowner and view the property. From there we will advise the homeowner on what they can do to their home to make it more appealing to buyers. Many times the small changes we suggest can make the difference between a house selling fast or sitting on the market for months.
Energy Consultation
An energy consultation is a meeting between an inspector and a property owner for the purpose of decreasing the property owners energy and water consumption, saving the property owner money and reducing their impact on the environment. This inspection focuses on lower cost changes that can be made to any property.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging uses a thermal imaging camera to find gaps in insulation, water intrusion, lack of insulation, air leaks, etc. Thermal Imaging often finds hidden problems or damage that a visual inspection will not uncover.
Water Saving Packages
These packages give the property owner a variety of ways they can reduce the amount of water they use. Some of the options include water saving faucets, water saving toilets, water saving shower heads, rain collection systems, etc. These packages often result in energy savings as well.
Energy Saving Packages
These packages give the property owner a variety of ways they can reduce the amount of energy they use. We have plans that will cut electrical use, natural gas use, and propane use. Some examples of packages include adding insulation, sealing up air leaks, converting to CFL or LED bulbs, etc.
Aerial Inspection/Photography
The aerial inspection is for situations that require the inspection or photography of something that is too high off the ground to be safely inspected or photographed up close. We use a drone equipped with a high resolution camera for this service. This allows us to get good looks at roofs, grain bins, property lots, etc.
Home Maintenance Consultation
A home maintenance consultation is for home owners who want to know what type of maintenance they need to perform on their home to keep it in the best possible condition. We will walk through the property and access what maintenance has been done and what maintenance needs to be done. Valves, filters, and shutoffs will all be labeled and clients will receive maintenance schedules and maintenance booklets for future reference. This consultation will help reduce energy costs and improve your homes energy efficiency.
